Digimon TCG Card Shops In Akihabara

I live and play the Digimon Card Game in Japan, so I often get a lot of questions asking about places to see that sell or play Digimon in Japan. Below is a list of places I recommend. They’re mostly focused in Akihabara where I typically play:

Bandai Deck Stadium: https://maps.app.goo.gl/8ouviR9W5pJF6Xzi7

This is an arcade owned by Bandai itself. The first few floors are different types of arcade stuff, but the top floor on the escalator is a free-play space for Bandai-owned card games. It’s free to play, and they usually have some official product says.

ShakaShaka:

5th floor, my local card shop. A little small, but is probably the best place to buy Digimon cards in Akihabara. Staff are some of the nicest people, and this is my favorite shop.

Card Wings: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9ND3SRK5kpRH9KtA8

They sell a bunch of different card game stuff, so if you play other games, definitely check it out. Digimon is on the 3rd floor. They usually have pretty decent deals on single cards, but they sell out pretty quickly.

DragonStar & Card Rush: https://maps.app.goo.gl/31odNrFfbUYtyn7q7

Lines to get in the elevator take a few minutes, but these recently just opened. DragonStar is on the 6th floor, and I think Card Rush is one floor down or up. They have singles and have a pretty decent play space, but they are mostly Pokemon-focused shops.

Radio Kaikan: https://maps.app.goo.gl/31odNrFfbUYtyn7q7

Huge ass building where every floor is some anime or otaku stuff. There is card game stuff on pretty much every floor, and it changes so often, it’s hard to keep track of it, so if you have an hour or two to kill and want to do not only some Digimon card shopping but other anime stuff as well, get lost in here for a while.

Bankoku: https://maps.app.goo.gl/AkcNxEBBVk3sJy5KA

6th floor of a building on a side street. They have pretty decent prices, but their alt arts are a little more expensive than other places from what I’ve seen.

This is pretty much my Akihabara list. If you’re looking for places to play, there aren’t Digimon-only stores, and many card shops support multiple card games. People typically gather at different card shops to play casuals, with each card shop typically having a specific day and time for official Digimon events. If you want to play, you can find those events by changing your TCG+ App to the Japanese region (the language will still be English though, don’t fret) and try to join. You may or ma
